Duties : Designs and develops software solutions requiring general domain knowledge and developing business experience. Supports and may lead projects within own organization with limited complexity. Analyzes user requirements/needs and makes decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision. Deliver stable and high quality authentication solution for a high-volume transaction System. Interface with your cross-functional team to ensure implementations meet business requirements, solution architecture and design. Investigate the current-state solution to identify and resolve challenges. Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models. Understand, advocate and augment the platform principles, guidelines and standards. Work with the SCRUM master and product owner to provide development sizing & cost analysis estimates. Work closely with product owner and team members to decompose stories, design features and prioritize tasks. Create, maintain and ensure adherence to development, coding, testing and automation standards. Deliver new concepts and features, working alongside development peers in an agile environment. Collaborate with peers and partners on a Scrum team to deliver software release sprints on time with a focus on quality. Utilize automated software test tools and frameworks such as test-driven development to achieve the highest quality in software delivery. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $114,412 to $143,600 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or a related filed and 2 years of experience in a related occupation.

Experience must include the following: Develop and troubleshoot authentication services using Java and SpringBoot; Develop public facing user interfaces addressing security using Angular and JavaScript; Automate unit and regression test cases in using Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Selenium; Build dashboards to measure effectiveness of authentication services including the number of successful logins, password changes, two factor authentications using Splunk or Grafana; and CI/CD to automate the software build, test, and deployment processes using Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar, and Veracode.
