About the Role

The Senior Proposal Writer is a remote US-based role working alongside a team of Government Healthcare Proposal Writers. We create complex, client-focused, and compelling proposals that convert to wins. Our Government Health Services group responds to bids for state, local, and international government health solutions.

Responsibilities

• Preparing research and writingcompliant proposal text forgovernment services and solutions, including but not limited tocompany qualifications, staffing, data security, system integration, and other technical solutions

• Applying extensive writing and interviewing skills while working up to 3 proposals simultaneously

• Working directly with solution architects to understand technical solutions and converting their input into persuasive content

• Developing operational and technical knowledge resulting in effective proposal writing

• Serving as a reviewer for assigned sections of proposals

• Collaborating with opportunity and sales owners on the executive summary and other added value sections

• Adapting to possible last-minute changes andbeing receptive to feedback

• Taking ownership of assigned tasks, holding yourself accountable, and delivering on time

• Adhering to Conduent’s style guide and brand standards

• Participating in a positive work environment, demonstrating a professional and respectful attitude, and meeting expectations

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related discipline. Equivalent professional work experience will be considered.

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience working on large scale proposals. Other transferable experience will be considered.

• Preferred to have proposal writing experience supporting the healthcare industry

• Have proficiency using Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro

• Have effective interviewing ability of subject matter experts

• Possessexcellent time management skills and attention to detail to manage simultaneous bids at various stages and complexities

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $84k-$110K
