TCS Education System Enrollment Training Specialist in United States

Job Description:

TCS Education System is seeking an Enrollment Training Specialist to support the Admissions and Enrollment Services department. This role will report to the Senior Director of Training and Development.

The Enrollment Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering training via web-based delivery and/or on-site hands-on training to support ongoing training efforts throughout the shared service system specifically in enrollment and admissions training needs. A successful candidate will have great communication, teaching and presentation skills to ensure the end-user fully understands the expectations required to perform their core functions and have a thorough understanding of the training documentation and resources available.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver Instructor led and Web based training to new hires and existing employees on new systems, program launches as well as topics including soft skills, processes, and procedures

  • Conduct front-end analysis to identify instructional goals; work with subject matter experts to understand the performance gaps, and needs assessment

  • Understand the workflow and system process needs of each partnership

  • Translate needs analysis and functional specifications into an audience-appropriate, clear, and concise course design

  • Support in the creation and maintenance of instructor materials (course outlines, instructional materials, and training aids) for both internal and partnership training engagements

  • Contribute to the effective development, coordination and presentation of system training for all employees including role specific training and new hire onboarding

  • Coordinate internal training sessions including and not limited to scheduling conference rooms, having materials prepared, checking technical specs, etc.

  • Assist with the development of new testing and assessment processes

  • Support in the development of content in the Learning Management System (LMS) with videos, courses, and other training tools using Storyline, A360 and other authoring platforms

  • Act as a point of contact for end user’s questions and concerns

  • Work with end users to promote best practices

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Position Requirements:

  • Possess excellent communication and ability to tactfully interact with individuals at various levels throughout the institution

  • Engaging presentation skillset, proactive, and collaborative

  • Positive attitude and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment

  • Well organized, detail oriented, flexible, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

    Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or other related field.

  • One to two years of experience in training, learning, and development or instructional design, or sufficient practical and transferable experience to demonstrate practical equivalence

  • Previous instructor-facilitator experience preferably in higher education

  • Prior admissions or enrollment experience preferred.

  • The ability to travel 10- 25% within the region to various affiliate locations (domestic travel).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

  • Knowledge and understanding of the following authoring platforms and learning management systems such as Articulate 360, Storyline, and Canvas etc. preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to perform sedentary work

  • Ability to operate office equipment including computer, printers, and phone

Compensation & Benefits

This opportunity is budgeted at $62,500 - 65,000 base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
