The Chief Scientist, GEOINT Technology is responsible for establishing and maintaining a technology and pursuit roadmap for EO tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) opportunities for Radiant Solutions Sensor and Ground Modernization Line of Business.
Position is full-time, to include direct-charge activities in support of existing programs (providing technical oversight, advice and direction), along with significant contributions to business capture activities to include customer engagement (meetings and presentations) as well as technical solution development and proposal preparation
Primary emphasis will be building and extending EO processing opportunities within the Intelligence Community, to include, where applicable subsystems and hardware
Secondary emphasis will be establishing multi-INT (e.g., GEOINT and SIGINT) analytics opportunities
Responsibilities will include technology roadmap development to include recommendations for investment (IR&D, other) to most beneficially position Radiant Solutions to create and respond to sponsor opportunities
Coordination and collaboration across Radiant Solutions and Maxar Technologies will be important in defining expanded offerings
Position reports to Sensor Programs Director of Engineering
Position is based in Ypsilanti, MI
Routine business travel is expected to maximize customer engagement and to collaborate at Company and Corporate levels as well as within the broader industrial base
Clearance Required: TS/SCI
Experience: 20+ years in Aerospace/Defense with project and program development experience with DoD and IC
Education: Ph.D. in Engineering or Physical Sciences with relevant applications background
