Our team is looking for a motivated Software Developer with a strong understanding of geospatial technology, machine/deep learning models, API development, DevOps, and general web development practices. This position supports a diverse team of Data Scientists and Analytical Methodologists who are successfully applying/developing advance modeling and analytics in answering extremely difficult key intelligence questions (KIQ). In supporting this team, the person selected for this position will assist the customer in architecting and developing solutions to deploy these models and analytic products in the customer’s enterprise system. In doing so, s/he will research the best methodology/technology needed to provide a solid solution, and then work on the implementation of the solution. In addition, s/he will be assigned short development tasks when the need arises. On a daily basis, the person filling this position will be challenged, and will have the opportunity to work on technology and methods that are considered “cutting edge” in the IC.
Experience in the creation, management and maintenance of databases PostgreSQL w/PostGIS, MySQL or MongoDB.
Strongunderstanding of Machine Learning principles and knowledge of their development process.
Practical experience in the development of API, task management, queuing and messaging process in AWS or similar frameworks.
Understanding of DevOps and the continuous integration process.
Must be able to work independently with little support on development issues, and be able to assist the customer in developing solutions to deploying useable analytics on a enterprise system, similar to Anaconda Enterprise.
