Radiant Solutions is seeking a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) SME to support model development, tool development, and data analysis. This position will include requirements analysis, evaluation of sensor performance, support to mission planning, and low-level exploitation of data products from fielded sensors. The candidate will have a strong foundation in scientific analysis, Matlab / Python, STK / SIMDIS, and experience supporting the DOD/IC. This position requires an active TS/SCI; poly desired.
Research current methodologies used in the scientific / academic community and apply lessons learned in the development of new models
Develop tools to evaluate sensor performance based on a number of external influences in order to shape future requirements
Work with program teams to plan future operations based on a priori data analysis
Participate in field tests and exercises in support of sensor evaluation, data collection, and algorithm evaluations
Work with a multi-disciplinary team to put together complex products to inform leadership on the probability of success for future projects.
Bachelors in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting the DoD/IC
Demonstrated knowledge in tools and languages such as STK / SIMDIS / Matlab / Python
An understanding of flight dynamics and sensor metrics data
An understanding of RF propagation theory with the ability to put together link budgets
An understanding of EO / IR and other phenomenological sensors and respective propagation
Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI US Security Clearance. Poly desired.
