As a Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) or Licensed Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical services to patients in an in-person, office-based environment. This position is within our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization in Perspectives Counseling Center, which provides a variety of behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs

We are currently seeking therapists for our Troy, MI location.

Full time and part time options available along with flexible scheduling and remote options, some evenings and Saturdays are expected.

If you are located in Troy, MI, you will have the flexibility to work remotely*, as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges. 50% in facility 50% remote

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders

  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods

  • Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active LMSW or LPC licensure in Michigan

  • 2+ years of clinical experience

  • Ability to provide a minimum of 15 scheduled visits per week

  • Some evening sessions and Saturday appointments are expected

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families

  • Experience with children and adolescents

  • Solid computer and basic technology skills

  • Demonstrated a history of professional growth and development

  • Proven to be competent with a wide range of clinical presentations

  • Proven to be Self-motivated and independent clinician

  • Proven ability to build rapport with clients quickly
