Job Summary
In this role you will focus on researching vulnerabilities from a Threat Intelligence perspective and you will use these skills, intelligence sources, and tools, to score, assess, prioritize, and ensure timely remediation of the highest risk rated vulnerabilities to the financial sector and our firm. You will work with a highly skilled team of individuals collaborating across lines of defense, businesses, and technology teams disseminating threat and vulnerability information to reduce and mitigate risks to the firm.
This is a 24/7 Cybersecurity Operations organization so you may be occasionally required to perform vulnerability assessment, intelligence, and dissemination work after hours or on weekends in support of a cyber incident or other critical vulnerability requirement.
Major Responsibilities
Daily research, analysis, and dissemination of vulnerability intelligence, news and reporting
Identify high risk assets, applications, vulnerabilities
Assess threat actors’ intent and vulnerabilities weaponization and exploitation
Document and explain in a concise, understandable manner vulnerability details and remediation information
Document process and procedures and automate functions
Partner with teams across Cyber, Technology and Business to educate, remediate and reduce risk to the organization
Serve as backup and rotation for Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting functions
Support audit and regulatory exams
Administer tools and platforms and related technologies to support vulnerability intelligence
Qualifications
Prior experience with vulnerability intelligence, assessment, management
Knowledge of industry standards such as CVE, CPE, CVSS
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, SIEM and EDR
1-3 years overall experience working in global organization
Minimum of 1 year working directly in Cybersecurity Operations
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in threat and vulnerability management
Experience working within the Financial Services Industry preferred
Experience with Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting a plus
Relevant technical and industry certifications a plus such as CISSP, ISSMP, SANS, GCIA, CISM, EnCE, CEH, GCFA, GCFE, GCIH, or GSEC
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, related discipline or equivalent work experience
The typical base pay range for this role is between $83K - $109K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
