MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in marketing, business, English, merchandising, economics, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, or communications and three (3) years of professional experience in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, business or industry development, the travel industry or in hotel or restaurant management;or

A master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in business administration and two (2) years of professional experience as described above.

Professional or paraprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Requires possession of a valid Driver’s License.

JOB DUTIES:

Write, edit and distribute all “Fresh From Florida” industry member communications, Florida Market Bulletin, and special alerts. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create content. Proof/edit content for division programs.

Serves as liaison for agriculture industry publications. Write content for features promoting Florida’s agriculture industry. Prepare responses to media inquiries. Conduct outreach to industry publication representatives.

Create presentations and webinars that highlight the division’s marketing campaigns. Gather content from other bureaus/sections for presentations. Define and streamline process to collect information.

Collaborate with graphics team to create advertorials for industry publications and outreach materials for FFF Membership Program.

Manage project activities for industry programs, sponsorships, or events.

Represent the division at industry meetings, tours, webinars, trade shows, events, and conferences.

Respond to industry inquiries. Utilize contact management system to research member database as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
