SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Java Web Application Developer with experience building data driven, geospatial enabled applications within a Linux operating environment to support a multi-year contract. Work Location: Springfield, VA Specific Duties: Using Java, Javascript, and PostgreSQL, will create and manage user data entry, documents and reports, and perform data / link analysis. Will use web user interface frameworks and libraries, such as Sencha and React.js to create and modify elements of the web application presentation layer. Minimum Required Education/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related work experience Experience using Java, Javascript and PostgreSQL to create and manage user data entry, documents and reports, and to perform data / link analysis. Practical knowledge and implementation of RESTFUL web services is important. Knowledge and experience with big data tools, such as Elasticsearch, is a plus. Experience with geospatial mapping solutions, components and frameworks is also desired. Clearance Requirement: TS required. Will upgrade to TS/SCI.
