Remitly, Inc., Seattle, WA -- Senior Software Engineer Global Disbursement Network: As a Senior Engineer, for the global disbursement Network team reporting directly to the teams' Engineering Manager, provide technical leadership to more junior engineers while working with other functions to deliver on our promises; design and build the core backend service through which we will manage 100+ partner integrations with financial services partners globally; build backend services to power the flow of funds and data across our own internal stack and our external disbursement partners; be passionate about delivering on promises to customers by ensuring funds arrive quickly and reliably to recipients around the world; build scalable and maintainable platforms to power disbursement of funds for multiple product lines, using technologies like Golang, Java, and AWS; Work cross-functionally with partnering product engineering teams and product managers across Remitly; write efficient, well tested, and well documented code; and write and review technical specifications for new features to improve the experiences of sending and receiving funds across the globe. Telecommuting may be available anywhere in the U.S. based with manager approval.

Requires: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field. Six years of experience, must include experience building, shipping and maintaining software; designing, building and testing performant web services that scale to test real-word traffic; and some experience with one or more general purpose programming language like Java or Go.
