The Role

The Senior Lead Program Manager is a strategic position within the Business Operations team for the commercial organization. The Sr. Lead Program Manager is responsible for developing new plans and managing implementation activities for large complex projects and programs that improve sales and revenue, reduce costs, streamline operations, or enhance service to the Lumen business and customers. Collaborates with cross-functional business, finance, and product teams to solve problems and implement new solutions, while building trust and loyalty across the teams.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Leads stakeholders to determine program objectives and execute on deliverables, progress against KPIs, risk/issue management, dependency resolution, scope and timing; works with cross-functional groups across the business.

  • Analyze program metrics and lead stakeholders in recommendations on how to start, stop and pivot work to drive outcomes.

  • Responsible for building and maintaining business relationships, which includes working with all levels and organizations

  • Anticipates and actively seeks opportunities to transform the business, eliminate costs through these efforts, make solution recommendations, and provide consistent feedback on improvement opportunities related to current business process.

  • Responsible for identifying and coordinating resource needs within multiple departments and lines of business.

  • Identify/analyze process risks and inefficiencies; actively seeks opportunities to transform the business and eliminate costs through these efforts.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and 6+ years related experience

  • Experience leading complex projects and/or technology programs in the technology industry

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively, in a constantly changing environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including driving action among VP+ groups.

  • Ability to take initiative to develop new strategies and outside-the-box ideas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal recognized project and/or Agile certification requirements (e.g. CPO, CSM, PMI, PMP)

  • Experience working with financial modeling and reporting

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$94420 - $125890 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$99390 - $132510 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$104360 - $139140 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$109330 - $145770 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
