OVERVIEW

The position of ISSE covers many tasks of a traditional in-house ISSM but with the additional responsibilities of handling multiple clients/environments and understanding the complexity of the differing levels of compliance requirements for each situation. This role will assist CCS in the continued growth and expansion of our defense compliance capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop security policies and assists clients in implementation and ongoing maintenance

• Assess client risks, identify vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate

• Assist clients with building security awareness training programs

• Collaborate with other defense compliance team members to design and implement secure architectures for client information systems

• Develop security documentation and reporting programs

• Build POAMs and remediate client environments

• Participate in client security governance processes

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• Gain knowledge/expertise in the handling of FOCI mitigated clients

  QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive knowledge of DFARs, NIST guidelines, NISPOM, CMMC 2.0

• CISSP or equivalent certifications

• 7+ years in the IT administration and security field

• 5+ years working in the defense sector

• 2+ years of Office 365 GCC High/Azure Gov Cloud administration

• Knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet network products

• Experience with VMware, Veeam, Microsoft Windows Server, management tools

• Has or can obtain security clearance
