Vascular/ Cardiac Sonographer—PRN Days

Do you have experience as a sonographer working with Cardiac patients? Award winning department is in need of top skilled Cardiac Sonographer. Our Non-Invasive Cardiology department is looking for top skilled Sonographer? Is that you?

LOCATION : Texas Health Plano is located at 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093

SCHEDULE : PRN Days. Hours would be 8:30-5 if during week and 7-1 if on weekend. One week of call per month, must respond within one hour

Great opportunity to develop and expand your technical skills in a variety of environments such as: OR, ER, Trauma, outpatient

The Ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

EDUCATION:

· H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required

· Associate degree from accredited school of Ultrasound Technology preferred

EXPERIENCE:

· 1 year prior experience preferred

· Cardiac experience highly preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:

· RCS – Registered Cardiac Sonographer upon hire required OR

· RDCS – Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer upon hire required OR

· RVT – Registered Vascular Technologist upon hire required OR

· RVS – Registered Vascular Specialist upon hire required AND

· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
