 Designs marketing materials for non-degree and certificate University programs including newsletters, magazines, publications, flyers, brochures, web information, videos and course materials. Assists with editing and writing communications. Serves as webmaster.

The HERL Communications Designs Specialist is responsible for designing marketing materials for social media, quarterly newsletters, publications, flyers, web information, videos and recruitment materials. Assists with editing and writing communications. Essential Functions • Maintains, designs, and improves marketing materials for department and program, including newsletters, magazines, publications, flyers, brochures, web information, videos, and course materials. • Assists faculty and students with writing and editing articles and/or other materials for internal and external publications.? • Coordinates and consults on the design, proofreading, layout reviews, production, and follow-up of publications - including quarterly newsletter and annual calendar. • Acts as webmaster; maintains correlating databases accurately and in a timely fashion.

Physical Effort Work is largely performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25-50 pounds. Must be able to effectively communicate, both face-to-face and via teleph ne or electronic communication.
