A large truck rental agency is looking for a contract Sr Data Scientist to join their team through the end of the year with possibility of extension or conversion. This company offers state-of-the-art transportation and distribution solutions to help customers stay on track and avoid supply chain disruptions.

Their data science teams work across various products, from optimizing sales data to developing machine learning around logistic predictability. The ideal candidate will be a generalist who can handle jumping between SQL , Python, and standard ML libraries to get work done. If you have the ability to understand a problem, devise a data science solution, then independently dig into data sources to assess variability for solving said problem, then you do not want to miss this opportunity! Required Skills & Experience

• MS level of education + 3-4 data science experience (not analyst experience or data engineer experience)

• or PhD level of education + 2 years industry data science experience

• Ability to understand a problem, devise a data science solution, then independently dig into data sources to assess variability for solving sad problem.

• Python

• SQL

• Azure or AWS experience
