We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including firewalls, switching, and routing, as well as proficiency in Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto Networks solutions. This individual will play a key role in architecting and designing robust networks executing hands-on implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Network Architecture and Design:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive network architecture and design solutions based on business requirements.

  • Design, configure, and maintain Cisco firewalls and switching and routing components to ensure optimal network performance and security.

  • Architect and implement Meraki switching, firewalls, and wireless solutions to enhance network agility and efficiency.

  • Design and deploy Palo Alto Networks firewalls and SD-WAN to fortify network security and streamline wide-area network connectivity.

Implementation and Configuration:

  • Execute hands-on implementation of network solutions to ensure successful deployment of and adherence to best practices.

  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto Networks devices to meet specific project requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions into existing infrastructures seamlessly.

Network Automation:

  • Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows for network provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.

  • Leverage automation tools to improve the efficiency of routine tasks and ensure a consistent and error-free network environment.

  • Collaborate with the broader IT team to integrate network automation into overall IT automation initiatives.

Network Optimization and Performance:

  • Continuously assess network performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing enhancements as needed.

  • Implement network optimization strategies to enhance overall reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Security and Compliance:

  • Enforce security policies and best practices across all network components to safeguard the network against potential threats.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, proactively addressing security vulnerabilities.

Documentation and Training:

  • Maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.

  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members on implemented solutions and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering with a focus on Cisco, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto Networks technologies.

  • Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE) and Palo Alto Networks certifications preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.

  • Proven experience in architecting, designing, and implementing complex network solutions.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • The expected base salary range for this position is $150K – $185K USD annually, plus annual discretionary bonus. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the consideration of many factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the individual’s knowledge, experience, education, qualifications, skills, job location, and the Company’s compensation practices.
