As a Aerospace Structural Dynamics Analyst, you will be using your skills and expertise to research, architect, model, simulate, test, qualify and improve cutting edge products and services. You'll be performing structural dynamic analysis and test of spacecraft using industry standard structural analysis software and tools. Must-haves: Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of required education. Strongly Preferred Skills: Experience with structural dynamics through education or equivalent experience for Aerospace applications Working understanding and application of structures and structural dynamic principles Proficiency in application of finite element analysis principles as well as rigid and flexible body lumped-parameters Define and integrate Dynamics requirements into the system baseline. Prepare test plans/requirements for: static, separation dynamics, sine/random vibration, modal and shock tests. Analyze and document the results in post-test reports. Experience with finite element numerical software (e.g. NASTRAN) and pre/post processors Experience with space / launch environments and environments derivation Experience with FEA software such as NASTRAN is required Experience with CAD Software and MATLAB preferred

Preferred: Experience applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 Understanding of Engineering Simulation such as Finite Element structural analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Thermal Analysis Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry Knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing, and production processes
