Start your career with Master Thesis Internship Program STS

The intention of this program is to support your thesis with real world internship experience. We support students with topics related to simulation software, testing systems, and customer practices. Domains include system dynamics, structural integrity, flow-thermal, control, reliability, acoustics, and energy efficiency. Also, students can perform internships following their universities internship/thesis calendar and gain hands-on experience creating simulation models or performing measurements. These tasks usually support ongoing innovation activities.

At the conclusion of your internship you will become part of the SIEMENS Software Early Careers (https://www.sw.siemens.com/en-US/careers/student-programs-and-early-careers/) network. This will give you visibility for our graduate programs and associate positions globally.

What we’re looking for;

We're seeking hardworking individuals studying a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineers, Computer Science, Software Development, Robotics, Manufacturing Technology, Electrical or similar. If you love creative problem-solving and have strong interpersonal skills, we want you! This paid position is available for one year and offers a fantastic opportunity to work on extraordinary, complex projects in an exciting and varied enterprise environment for industry-leading customers. All about you

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program.

  • Strong command of English (spoken and written) and enjoy communicating ideas and collaborating.

  • Knowledgeable and/or interest of simulation technologies.

  • Currently working or about to start your research thesis. Also, you want to acquire hands on technical support experience in a field related to the topics covered by Simcenter (https://plm.sw.siemens.com/en-US/simcenter/)

  • Eligible to do an internship in Belgium. (EU Nationals / International Students under an EU student visa)
