Description

Robert Half is looking for a Logistics Clerk in the Hialeah area that has experience in Import / Export and freight forwarding business. This position is a contract to hire and allows for tremendous growth opportunity.

Job Description:

• Logistics Clerk must process incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Verify shipment contents and ensure accuracy against orders.

• Prepare shipping labels and documentation.

• Logistics Clerk must maintain accurate inventory records.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.

• Logistics Clerk must report discrepancies and work to resolve inventory issues.

• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to arrange shipments.

• Schedule pick-ups and deliveries.

• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.

• Logistics Clerk must prepare and process bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.

• Maintain records of all transactions and logistics activities.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, or a related field is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
