Google Technical Program Manager, Radio Frequency Compliance in Gurugram, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in a lab or industrial setting.

  • 2 years of experience in program management.

  • Experience with wireless technologies (e.g., Cellular, Bluetooth, WiFi, etc.) and Radio Frequency.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the India local certification lab.

  • Understanding of Tech Equity Collective (TEC) regulations and standards.

  • Excellent project management skills in schedule management, communication, cost management, risk assessment and mitigation plan.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Our team focuses on lab testing which includes RF, RF exposure, and HAC requirements. Team members rely on their technical knowledge in wireless communication to effectively manage certification projects. We ensure the products meet the compliance from launch to post market surveillance while optimizing performance and user experience.

As a Radio Frequency (RF) Compliance Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Google, you lead complex multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project life-cycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders, ensuring the projects come in on time.

  • Drive sample preparation, guidance on sample selection, documentation, and test readiness.

  • Be an expert at managing software loading and updates for devices.

  • Deliver clear communication, timely updates, and a focus on hitting goals.

  • Debug/Troubleshoot proactive technical support to overcome testing hurdles.
