Aerotek Paint Technician in Fort Worth, Texas

Description:

  • The Paint technician provides technical support to the paint line programmer by performing a variety of manual labor tasks and assists with the coating application and production process. This may include loading and unloading materials, parts and masking areas of the parts that are not to be painted or coated. May include cleaning and maintaining equipment while providing routine assistance and support as required.

  • Assist the programmer by operating robotic equipment in accordance with the control plans established

  • Perform robot checks, i.e., change spray guns, check motors, air fluid calibrations

  • Ensure proper housekeeping and returning all tools to the proper storage areas at the end of the shift

  • Knowledgeable in formulations and additives related to coatings/paint applications exterior surfaces

  • Performs preventive maintenance and repair on machines

  • Processes troubleshooting on paint and auxiliary equipment

  • Works closely with, and communicate with all paint line team members

  • Assist the paint line programmer in training of the associates for line operation
