Job Description

The BAE Systems F-35 Training System Integration & Test Engineer will:

-Test each new courseware or syllabus mod kit as if they were a simulation technician or system administrator seeing it in the field

-Evaluate adequacy of engineering modification to meet problem report

-Coordinate with courseware or syllabus product support teams to establish test acceptance criteria for the field techs

-Monitor all training system requirements and report metrics associated with each new baseline

-Ensure software applications integrate into the training system and do not interfere with proper systems operations

-Test courseware and syllabus to ensure it functions correctly in the Training Management System / Learning Management System environment

-Test the syllabus database functions for proper integration

-Create Training System Problem Reports (TSPRs) for deficiencies identified during testing

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

-Typically a Bachelor s Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

-Experience with verification of requirements via test and evaluation processes

-Expertise with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access)

-Must be able to obtain SAP access within 6 months

-Must be able to obtain Security certification within 6 months

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

-Bachelor s degree from an accredited university in computer engineering, system engineering, technology management, training technology, training & development or related discipline desired

-Experience with the F-35 program

-Experience working in a training environment within an Integrated Product Team (IPT), as well as experience working with diverse teams

-Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving for technical issues

-Familiarity with software engineering practices (software lifecycle, familiar with coding languages)

-Familiarity with aircraft training simulators and training devices

-Familiarity with computer security updates (IAVM, STIG, ACAS)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $75510 - $128340

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
