Spirit AeroSystems Sales Director – Aftermarket in Dallas, Texas

Overview

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

· Directs and leads the processes and people involved when promoting the sale of Spirit Aftermarket products and services focused in Latin America.

· Develops and implements marketing strategies and action plans, including developing and presenting briefings to Latin American airline customers.

· Manages or participates in the development of proposals and negotiates business agreements.

· Develops relationships necessary to better understand the customer's needs and decision-making processes.

· Conveys the company's interests to the customer and the customer's requirements to Spirit operational leaders.

Qualifications

Requirements:

· Bachelors degree with 6-9 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree with 4-7 years of experience.

Preferred experience:

· Minimum of 6 years professional aftermarket sales & marketing experience

· Experience in account management and business development roles

· Previous experience participating in contract and pricing negotiations

· Ability to drive cross functional collaboration within a matrix organization

· Domestic and international travel within North and South America

· Preferred candidate will be fluent in Spanish

· Ability to negotiate to go after and close business in both familiar and new markets

· Proven sales performance track record and success in strategic and operational engagements

· Understands and respects diversity working in an international team and with an international customer base

· Out-of-the-box thinker with an ability to challenge the status quo

· Excellent communication and networking skills

· Flexibility and self-motivation

· SAP product knowledge across the digital framework is an advantage
