Kaizen Approach, Inc Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in Columbia, Maryland

We are currently looking to hire Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support mission critical training programs. To succeed in this role, you must exhibit innovative, meticulous, team-oriented mindset. Generally, ISSOs are responsible for maintaining the operational security posture to ensure information systems (IS) security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.

Requirements:

  • Experience evaluating of security solutions to ensure they meet program security requirements for processing classified information

  • Supports the senior ISSO for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies

  • Experience managing records of the following:

  • Workstations

  • Servers

  • Routers

  • Firewalls

  • Intelligent Hubs

  • Network Switches

  • System Upgrades

  • Experienced in the Certification and Accreditation of 10-15 System Security Plan (SSP).

  • Experience providing documentation for C&A in accordance with ODNI and DoD policies

  • Experience with providing information system guidance through the Risk Management Framework from initial startup to implementation

  • Fifteen (15) years of ISSO related experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in a Computer Science or related technical discipline

  • Active Top Secret Clearance w/ Poly

Highly Preferred:

  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Managements (IAM) Level I or higher

  • Experience developing system security policy and ensures and program compliance
