JOB REQUIREMENTS: Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Deputy Corporation Counsel position within the Department of Administration Corporation Counsel Division. The job duties of the Deputy Corporation Counsel include but are not limited to performing the duties of Deputy Corporation Counsel as provided in Wis. Stats. 59.42. In the absence or in place of the Corporation Counsel, when so directed, this position represents and advises Chippewa County leadership in civil matters and provides responsive, courteous and efficient service to County residents and the general public. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of three (3) years of legal experience required and local government legal experience preferred, but not required.
