Description

Robert Half is actively recruiting for a strong SOPs / Audit Consultant for Utilities company for a 3 months+ engagement. The consultant’s primary responsibilities will be supporting the finance department in reviewing, creating and updating SOPs. The consultant will need to have strong communication and writing skills . This role will be located onsite in Chino Hills, CA.

Technical Skills:

• Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various departments

• Conduct thorough analysis of current operational processes to identify gaps and areas for improvement

• Collaborate with department heads and staff to gather necessary information and ensure SOPs accurately reflect current practices

• Ensure all SOPs comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Provide training and support to staff on new and updated SOPs

• Monitor the implementation of SOPs and provide feedback for continuous improvement

• Maintain a comprehensive and organized database of all SOPs

  Requirements

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of Auditing ideally in the Utilities/Infrastructure industry

• Proven experience in a senior Auditing role

• Skills in application controls and accounting procedures are essential

• Ability to ensure compliance with industry and company standards

• Proficiency in documentation and department procedures

• Must understand the accounting close process and standard operations procedures

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work well in a team and lead when necessary

• Must hold relevant qualifications in Auditing or a related field
