Data Solutions Architect

As a Data Solutions Architect/Developer at Philips Healthcare – S&SD, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust data solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect scalable data architectures, and develop end-to-end data pipelines. You will leverage your expertise in data engineering, software development, and architecture to deliver high-quality solutions that drive measurable business value.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and define data solution architecture.

  • Design and architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines and systems.

  • Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources into data warehouses or data lakes.

  • Build and maintain data models, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.

  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement machine learning models and algorithms into production systems.

  • Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and architecture.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a data engineer, data architect, or software developer, with a focus on building data solutions.

  • Experience with Python, .Net (Maui/Blazor Frameworks preferable)

  • AWS Associate Level, or equitable, Required

  • Azure Developer Associate, or equitable, Required

  • Experience designing, documenting, and implementing data architecture and infrastructure solutions.

  • Strong understanding of data modeling principles and techniques.

  • Excellent documentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Additional skills and experience that are desirable:

  • Preference to work GMT+6, GMT+5, or GMT+4 time zones.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Terraform).

Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
