Business Intelligence/Reporting Specialist Role – S&SD

As a Business Intelligence/Reporting Specialist at Philips Healthcare – S&SD, you will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and business growth. Working within our dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their reporting needs and design intuitive, interactive dashboards and reports. Leveraging your expertise in business intelligence tools and data visualization techniques, you will develop and maintain robust reporting solutions that provide timely and accurate information to support strategic initiatives. Your role will involve ensuring data integrity, optimizing query performance, and continuously improving reporting processes to enhance efficiency and usability.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements to design and deliver dashboards and reports.

  • Create wireframes and perform walkthroughs with end-users and stakeholders prior to development.

  • Work with the team members and stakeholders to prioritize and quickly resolve issues and inconsistencies.

  • Create documentation for administration and support resources to properly maintain post-delivery.

  • Support training & adoption resources in development of Job Aids, FAQ documents and other training materials/assets.

  • Ensure the quality, integrity, and reliability of analytic products and applications.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, strategy development, and implementation, with a focus on data architecture and infrastructure.

  • Proficiency SQL and Data Visualization Tooling (Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI)

  • Strong understanding of data modeling principles and techniques.

  • Experience working with big data technologies and platforms

  • Excellent documentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Additional skills and experience that are desirable:

  • Preference to work GMT+6, GMT+5, or GMT+4 time zones

  • Experience in Healthcare or Medical Technology Sectors, preferred

  • Experience with Azure services, preferred

  • Experience with Python, R, and/or Scala, preferred

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
