Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Brooklyn, New York

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Brooklyn, New York for a Customer Service Representative within the non-profit industry. This role primarily involves processing customer credit applications and maintaining customer credit records.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner.

• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure they are up to date.

• Respond to and resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly to identify any issues.

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments from customers.

• Use MS Office to manage and organize data efficiently.

• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding customer credit applications.

• Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure a consistent and high-quality service is provided.

• Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.

• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Requirements • Knowledge and understanding of the non-profit sector and its functioning.

• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a non-profit organization.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.

• Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and efficient manner.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple customer queries and tasks.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Willingness to adapt to changing work environments and customer service trends.

• High level of professionalism and ethical conduct in dealing with confidential customer information.

• Commitment to the mission and goals of the non-profit organization.
