As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for Design and development of Computed Tomography (CT) Reconstruction algorithms and platforms for next-generation CT scanners as part of a global team.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.

  • Provide technical leadership to an agile team.

  • Work with Product Owners to understand product requirements & vision.

  • Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards.

  • Work with product owners and architects to develop multi generation software technology plans.

  • Drive increased efficiency across teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse.

  • Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities.

  • Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables.

  • Apply principles of Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, Continuous Integration, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.

  • Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

  • Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using the selected technologies.

Educational Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or allied fields.

Required Qualifications :

  • Strong C++ knowledge from fundamentals through advanced concepts.

  • Strong knowledge of design and OOPS concepts.

  • At least four years experience in hands-on coding and design.

  • Experience with Unix / Linux based programming.

Desired Characteristics (nice to have):

  • Master’s Degree / PhD in Computer Science or allied fields

  • Experience working on software projects in the Healthcare domain

  • Demonstrated initiative in exploring alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.

  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
