Duties : Prepare specifications, design, develop, support mobile applications, and prepare documentation per Schwab mobile best practices. Assess and optimize designs through review, evaluation tools, and analysis to ensure appropriate user experiences for phones and tablets. Create and perform unit testing for the spectrum of mobile devices. Build native mobile apps, support the mobile systems in production, and resolve and troubleshoot technical problems. Prepare documentation for new development while maintaining Schwab development standards. Develop compelling user experiences while meeting mobile user needs. Position allows for remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Austin, TX.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $122,696 to $160,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in a related occupation.

Experience must include the following: Develop and update iOS APPS using Swift and Objective C programming languages; Develop automated unit tests for iOS APPs using XCtest; Iterative development methodologies(TDD or ATDD) to develop and maintain iOS APPs; Apple iOS frameworks such as Combine, UIkit and AVkit; and Develop and update iOS APPs using MVI and MVVM design patterns.
