Duration: 12 Months+ Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): 8AM to 5PM (M-F) Job Description: We are seeking Network Engineers to join our Engineering team. The qualified candidate will support the design, development, Integration, and maintenance of our modern infrastructure Network framework. The environments are a mix of physical and virtualized servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, providing the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard Network Engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have an engineering mindset, have the ability and willingness to troubleshoot complex network problems, seeking to understand virtualized design elements in a dynamic environment. Basic Qualifications: A U.S. government DOD - Secret issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 2+ years of related work experience. Experience with Windows and/or Linux System Administration. Experience in COTS product installation for Hardware and Software products. Experience with software installation and configuration and O/S builds. Scripting skills (i.e. PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash, etc.). Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, Bit Bucket). Experience with the architecture and design of on premises COTS Infrastructure (IT). Preferred Qualifications: Network Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE Knowledge/experience with DoD Network Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and IA hardening requirements and implementation Experience with managing virtual machines / virtual network infrastructure Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps concepts Experience with the Agile development lifecycle Experience with monitoring of virtualized network environments Security Plus within 90 days.
