Sustainability Manager
Description
Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation
vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support
equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in
environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting
preserves.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies and action plans to drive
corporate sustainable development
- Set organizational sustainability targets, develop plans to meet those targets, oversee their
implementation, and report to management on progress
- Develop and maintain plans, requirements, protocols, and standard operating procedures to
continually improve the organization's sustainability performance
- Devise tools and systems to monitor performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities
for improvement
Research and identify alternatives, best practices, and solutions to sustainability challenges
Perform cost-benefit analyses of potential sustainability alternatives
Promote and increase awareness of sustainability initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
through multiple communication channels
- Collaborate with management, engineers, operators, and internal and external subject matter experts
in order to evaluate and drive sustainability performance
Serve as the liaison on the Textron Corporate ESG Committee
Foster talent development by supporting career path planning, management of performance
objectives, engagement, training, and onboarding of new hires.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related
field required
Years of Experience: 6 or more years of previous related experience required
Software Knowledge: familiarity with LCA software, understanding of GRI carbon accounting, and
knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding sustainability efforts
