Amazon Sr. Program Manager, Seller Growth Program in Arlington, Virginia

Each year, hundreds of thousands of businesses start their journey Selling on Amazon. Our business is responsible for recruiting, developing, and ensuring Sellers achieve success selling on Amazon as quickly as possible. Our vision is to help entrepreneurs, emerging Brands, and Sellers connect to customers on Amazon. Today, the 3P Seller business represents approximately 60% of the total Amazon.com sales and continues to accelerate, presenting you with the opportunity to join us and help our customers discover amazing products offered by Sellers.

We are looking for a talented Program Manager to scale our Seller Growth program. This position will own key goals and work across with senior leaders to develop and implement large scale initiatives to support sustained growth in our stores. Through data, insights, and strategy the position will partner closely with several cross-functional teams across the Amazon Consumer, Seller Support, Brand Registry, Fulfillment, Global and Data Science orgs to drive improvements to our seller journey, and implement mechanisms to improve seller education at scale.

The candidate must be a strong leader, and will draw upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to effectively drive business results and collaborate with Sales. The individual must have experience in sales processes and tools, and excel at building trust and driving urgency across organizations. The Program Manager must work well cross-functionally and present to senior leadership to report on progress.

Key job responsibilities

• Use data to drive continuous improvement of programs and processes to define overall program goals, objectives, inputs/output metrics, and business reporting cadence.

• Define Seller entitlement (lead pool) for the Seller Growth Program.

• Serve as the primary liaison between all teams involved in selling products to Amazon sellers, facilitating collaboration and integration of efforts to present a cohesive customer experience.

• Define operating models for the sales program, including best practices, SOPs and internal processes.

• Own scalable seller education messaging and delivery.

• Contribute to deep dive activities and present key learning to senior leaders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

  • Experience defining and executing program requirements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Proficient in SQL, Tableau, or any other business intelligence tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
