Job Title: Proposal Writer

Job Summary:

This position is in support of the FedWriters Business Development (BD) department. The Proposal Writer will draft, edit, and review proposal sections in response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) while ensuring seamless integration with the overarching proposal narrative.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with leadership to develop strategies, win themes, discriminators, benefits, risk mitigation to develop compliant and well-written proposals

  • Reviewing drafts for proposal compliance

  • Sculpting final proposal drafts for white glove team review

  • Analyzing government Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quote (RFQs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to determine proposal requirements

  • Drafting and submitting questions to clarify all proposal requirements for submission

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience writing proposals in response to Federal RFPs, RFQs, etc.

  • 5+ years of relevant writing experience in a professional corporate or related environment

  • Ability to obtain U.S. security clearance

  • Strong analytical and information management skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and oversight

  • Demonstrated experience drafting management, technical, quality volumes/sections, as well as executive summaries, past performance, corporate experience, and resumes

  • Experience working in a Microsoft SharePoint environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing several proposals simultaneously

    Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

    Work Setting and Environment:

  • Monday - Friday, normal working hours

  • Work is to be performed remotely
